District Court, the U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Since 1995, he has been a member of the Douglas and Arapahoe County Bar Associations, the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyer's Association, and the American Bar Association. More information regarding Ron's law practice is available on his web site at www.stowellpc.com. A Colorado native, Ron raised four children with his wife, Debbie. They now have six grandchildren. After high school, Ron served in the United States Army as an infantry soldier from 1967 through 1974 and received many decorations including the purple heart with first oak leaf cluster, combat infantryman's badge, and two presidential citations. Following his military service, Ron graduated magna cum laude from Colorado State University with a bachelor's degree in construction management, magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a master's degree in business administration, and with honors from the University of Denver with a doctorate of law degree. After a successful 20-year career in real estate development and construction management, Ron founded Stowell PC in 1995 and moved the firm from Highlands Ranch to Lone Tree in 1999. Having served the community in many volunteer capacities, Ron is excited about the newly formed Lone Tree Chamber of Commerce and the opportunity to serve on its board of directors. He will bring considerable business and legal experience to the chamber as well as a wealth of contacts and personal resources. His energy, diverse organizational and leadership skills, and high ethical standards are an asset to the chamber.

CHAIR-Elect-Sheila Massman (Massman Agency, Farmers Insurance)

Sheila Massman moved to the Lone Tree community fifteen years ago. During this time she served for eleven years on the Board of Directors for Taos of Lone Tree, retiring after serving as President for the last three years. She continues to sponsor and cater the annual Block Party for the Taos community. She also served on the Board of Directors for her prior community for twelve years, again as President for three years. She’s very comfortable with committee work and would have the time to commit to the Chamber. Sheila started her Farmers Insurance agency in 1983 after serving four years with the United States Air Force. With the growth of her business the office staffing has also increased, allowing her more time to be involved with the Chamber. Lone Tree is a wonderful place to call home and Sheila looks forward to taking a more active role in the continued growth of the chamber and our city.
